Our Story

Independence Vineyard is a winery located in Lebanon, CT on the historic Lebanon Green, which has a rich history of the American Revolution.

The vineyard was established to honor the cherished memories of making wine with the owner’s immigrant Grandpa.

The tasting room is located in a remodeled barn with a large deck for relaxing and enjoying the view

Independence Vineyard offers red, white, blush and fruit wine such as apple.

Stop by for a relaxing glass of wine and savor the Taste of Independence.

FAQs

Yes. Anyone, regardless of age, may be asked to provide an ID when ordering beverages that contain alcohol.

Yes. We have bottled water, soft drinks and sparkling waters for purchase.

No, we do not sell food. You are welcome to bring your own. We do have prepackaged snack size items available and host occasional events that include food trucks.

Please take all personal items with you when you leave. Utensils, containers, baskets etc. We are not responsible for items left behind.

Due to our licensing, alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought onto our property.

We accept cash, all major credit cards, and most debit cards.

Our price list includes CT state sales tax.

There is a handicap parking area up the drive from the main parking lot in front of the building with stairless access to the deck and tasting room. Access on the grounds, around firepits are not ADA accessible.

Only certified service dogs are allowed in the tasting room. No companion animals.

Well socialized, leashed dogs are allowed on the grounds and on the deck. Dogs are not allowed on the deck when it is crowded for the consideration of our patrons who are not able to tolerate them.

We require that if you stroll our property with your dog you take measures to clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed in the vine rows.

We welcome everyone to Independence Vineyard, but please understand that we are an adult destination featuring adult beverages in a relaxing environment.

Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the property. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the vine rows.
